It’s been awhile since I last blog, so I thought a venue I can start blogging again is to review restaurants. To begin I will start with a restaurant I’ve been on 2 occasions: Harvester Lowry in Salford Quays, UK.

During my first visit in May 2012, we had a main course and a dessert. The main course was fairly average quality, but the dessert was terrible. Our sundae came melted and liquidity. When we confronted the manager to change it, the manager challenged and insulted our knowledge about how a sundae should be. In the end, we decided not to eat it and just pay the bill. At this point, the manager decided not to charge us for the sundae, which turned out to be a fair settlement.

Today, 23 Dec 2012, was our second visit; we thought we should give it a second chance. This round we only had main courses, and the service was as slow as ever, and the food was fairly average again, but the salad does not seem fresh. Furthermore, my partner complained her lamb was raw, which the waitress took it back to the kitchen for further cooking.

My verdict for Harvester Lowry in Salford Quays, UK in 2012 is as follows:

Houses of Parliament and Big Ben in the lights of the frozen night in London.

It's been awhile since I last blog anything. So did my blogging stalled? What has happened?

I'm very appreciative for those of you who keep coming back to check on this blog, and the answer is I'm still in!

It's my final months of my PhD course and I'm busy writing away for a couple of months now. Though I'm done with draft one, I'm redrafting bits of it and I'm almost through with draft 2. Enough of the boring stuff, in short please do stay tune as I will try to blog whenever I can find a gap in my time.

Don't forget these guys! It was a great day with fantastic weather, and Manchester Day Parade 2012 all when well on Sunday (10 June 2012), but these guys at the end of the parade were cleaning the place immediate. Good job guys! I really like the way these machines were decorated.
