Emperor Prawn

Recently, I've bought a few emperor prawns from the market to celebrate the New Year. While doing this, I did not actually have an idea how to cook one of these.
So this is very much another of my cooking experiments.
I started of marinading one of the prawns with Olive oil, a pinch of salt, squeezed a bit of lemon, grinded black peppercorn, and set it aside for 30 minutes. Then, I shallow fry it in Olive oil with chopped garlic, and just before it was cooked, I added a small portion of mixed herbs. It turned out very delicious. So I thought I better document this.
Looks delicious to me!

It seems to me that you knew very well what to do with it. I like prawns and who wouldn´t?

After reading you I have serious doubts you aren't a "chef" ... 'cause that the right way to make them tasty as that!
By the way, thanks for linking me.
Wish you all the best for 2010.

Alex: Now that is what you call experimental cooking at its best, nicely done.

haha... Thanks for all the nice and encouraging comments.
I have to add to it that the Prawn is about 10-12 inches long.

I wouldn't dare to buy something like that and don't have a recipe. I'm happy that you managed to cook a great meal though!
