8 Hours In JFK Airport

Many of us have been in this situation where we have to catch a connecting flight and transit at an airport for a few hours. But what do you do if it is an 8 hours transit? Airport lounges or exiting the airport to visit the city are alternatives. During my transit, I didn't want to get stuck in a jam at New York, going through the security again and the airport lounges in terminal 8 at JFK were packed due to construction going on in other lounges. So I hop from gates to gates, cafes to cafes and spent my time capturing sunset shots.

A week and a half ago we had a 6 hr layover in Mexico City. Only the heat prevented us from exploring the city on a HOHO bus. We did what you did except that the airport in MX city is not that huge.

Hahaha I wish I have 8 hours transit so I can do some shopping and have nice coffee and cake and idle around for a while. Will tell more in my blog when I come to my adventure of almost missing my connecting flight where I wish I had 8 hours transit lol.
