Where The Three Rivers Meet

In today's article, I experimented with my iPhone's panoramic feature and captured the meeting point of the three rivers. I have always wanted to use the panoramic feature on my phone but may be due to lack of creativity, have never found the opportunity. Until during two weeks ago, during my trip on the Duquesne Incline (see my last week post), I managed to capture the area where the three rivers, Monongahela River, Allegheny River and Ohio River, meet.

The iPhone panorama function works amazingly well. I should use it more often myself. Looking for Three Rivers Stadium but the photo does not enlarge. Probably not in this view anyway.

That is one cool image. We visited Pittsburgh a short while ago and fell in love with it...posted lots of pics... But, we went up the other Incline and missed this vista. Well done!!

Hi all, thanks for the comments and thanks for visiting my blog.

My apologies for not replying sooner. I was down with a flu for the past few days. Will be making my rounds soon.

Green tomato: Glad you liked the photo. Happy Smiley I will try out the panoramic feature again!

BellyBytes: from my experiment it is a great tool. I would recommend it anytime. Very Happy Smiley

Ken Schneider: That is a great point noted. The photo does enlarge itself in the article page when you click on the image, but not on other pages. I will look into that.

Stan: I will definitely check out your images! Very Happy Smiley
