Crown Court

Manchester Crown Court

Today is notably a nice, sunny, and cool day. Temperatures down a little bit, but I'm not complaining. The photo above is Manchester Crown Court along Aytoun street. If you can't find a parking space and you wouldn't mind the prices, there are a lot here. National Car Parks (NCP) charges from £2.80 for an hour, and £6.30 for 3 hours for this car park. You choose

Well, you could come to New Mexico for a visit. There is free parking here for as far as the eye can see, and there are even still some hitching posts if you choose to ride a horse instead of driving a car. Sometimes we can drive for miles and miles without seeing anyone else. We might even see more antelopes than cars on some days!

Thanks for sharing on Skywatch.

Sunny and cool with blue blue skies, that's my perfect day.

Enjoy the weekend.
Photo Cache    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 04:22:05 +0800
I understand about the parking, it is costly here too about $20 for whole day.
Ebie    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 05:30:31 +0800
That's a beautiful shot. I like the interesting building against the blue sky.
Carver    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 05:43:14 +0800
Great shot!
I would love to take a walk there.

RuneE: Yes the surroundings is lovely.

clairz: haha... very interesting. But it is free. That's great!

Photo Cache: Oh yes. Not sweaty at all. That's the most important to me.

Ebie: Oh yes. It is very expensive to park at the city centre. Phew...

Carver: Thanks.

Ida: Haha... I'm sure you will get your chance. The surroundings is quite nice.

Such a beautiful tower, my friend. A beautiful sky, too.

If I never had to park, I would be very happy.
SandyCarlson    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 10:19:17 +0800
Very beautiful centre. Love the architectural designs. Have a nice weekend, Alex.
Alicesg    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 10:20:42 +0800
A nice view of this old court house... I have seen the inside of this building Alex... it was over 30 years ago... from here I was sent to the other side of the city centre to Strangeways for the next 12 months or so.
It surprises me how my past can pop up at anytime and remind of the youth I was back then... BTW... it did the trick as it helped me to change my ways and I never went back there...
Nice to call back here Alex.. it seems ages since I stopped by.

I think I could spend 3 hours in Manchester when I some day eventually get there.
chrome3d    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 13:39:06 +0800
I love a cool sunny day in England. Pity that Manchester seems to get more than its fair share of rain. I'll have to pop to the city centre myself to get some photos on a good day.

Good to read another Manchester blog.

Cheers

Mike    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 18:04:43 +0800
The sky where I live is dark grey today. I don't even want to take out the camera för fear of ruining it it the rainshowers. Enjoy your blue sky when you still have it! Have a nice weekend!
AKO    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 19:08:10 +0800
Towers against a blue sky are always a joy to see. And your - expensive! - parking lot even has shade.
VioletSky    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 19:46:29 +0800
lovely architecture. but i guess i'd rather walk around and be a little sweaty. haha! happy SWF!
syel    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 21:02:11 +0800
I am not fond of having to pay for parking. I guess that's just an American thing. I love your blue sky though. It looks like you're set for a sunny weekend!

Happy Friday!
Halcyon    Fri, 10 Jul 2009 21:50:54 +0800

BPOTW: Thanks.

Paz: That's great! You too.

SandyCarlson: Thanks for the very nice comments.

Alicesg: Thanks and you too!

Tom: Ah I see. Everyone make mistakes. For me, learning from the mistake is more important, not making it. Sometimes without doing something wrong you will not learn. So that's life.

chrome3d: haha... that is a great thought. Remember to bring your stop watch!

Plastic Mancunian: It's great for me too! I must visit your blog soon.

Mike: Staggering prices isn't it? The car park (The Grand) just across Aytoun street is even more pricier. They make a lot out of parking. lol

AKO: I will. Good thought to keep your camera safe.

VioletSky: haha... shade?! That's if you park at the edges.

syel: That's the best way to keep fit & save money.

Halcyon: me too.

Dewdrop: the Crown Court in Manchester. The place where they trial people for their crimes.

Deborah Godin: Yups!

Bharat: Thanks!

Mo: Yes you can.

Karen: haha... Wise thing to do.

foto CHIP: oh is it? Interesting to know that.

Secret Mom Thoughts: Thanks.

EG WOW!: Yes it is. thanks!

Awang: Thanks. You too!

Fishing Guy: Thanks!

Debbie@ Like a Rose: Thank you

Ooo, don't get me started on NCP! The courthouse is considerably nicer than our 1960s horror here on the south coast.
J    Mon, 13 Jul 2009 17:48:51 +0800
Fortunately, there is also public transportation - right?
Per Stromsjo    Mon, 13 Jul 2009 18:03:30 +0800
Melusine: Thanks!

J: Haha... I know what you mean about NCP. About the courthouse. Is that true? Would love to see a photo of it.

Per Stromsjo: Yups!
