It's been a while since I traveled this. Excellent in mono.

Oh this is so nice in monochrome. I love the "clean" quality of this image.

Wow that's a beautiful bridge. B@W make it even more unique and interesting. Looked like old photos taken during my childhood where everything are in black and while. I just found some B&W childhood photos, maybe one day I share with my fellow bloggers...lol
Alicesg Fri, 24 Apr 2009 09:26:37 +0800
That is QUITE a bridge. I love the perspective in your photo--and the monochromatic aspect of it.

OMG, now there's a sight I haven't seen for 27 years!! I went on a school trip to Cardiff and we stopped at Cheddar Gorge....that is one SCARY bridge! (well it is when you're 10 years old and it's windy!)
Thanks for your visit, have a happy weekend

Alex: Neat sky capture in B&W, the sky looks grey like rain is coming. That is a cool bridge.
Fishing Guy Sun, 26 Apr 2009 03:00:51 +0800
I like the contrasts in this photo.
J Sun, 26 Apr 2009 10:41:01 +0800
Really excellent photo. It's a piece of art - the bridge and your photo.

I like bridges very much, and this looks like a nice one The use of b&w accentuated the lines in a nice way.

Great shot! very effective.
Mike Mon, 27 Apr 2009 04:00:19 +0800
Thanks again for all the nice comments.
Fishing Guy: Yes, it was raining that day when this photo was taken. That was one of the reason why I experimented with B&W.
Martha: I will pop by your blog again.
shionge: It's easy to miss this bridge because it is not in the city centre of Bristol. To get to the bridge take bus no. 8/8A to get to the bridge and bus no. 9/9A to get back to the city centre. You can hop on and off these buses from the train station or the city centre.
